Host a tournament in Lille

Roubaix/North-East, Villeneuve-d'Ascq/East and Lomme/West each need a hosting venue, and MCC confirms one per ground through its pitch owner programme. The venue stages a full foot a 5 competition for up to 128 amateur teams in 2027, while MCC provides the format, schedule, entries and prizes. Owners of halls, outdoor synthetic pitches and clubs around Lille will find the details below.

What a Lille venue commits to

The venue's part is to host its ground's matches in 40-minute slots. Group games fall on 9 to 11, 16 to 18 and 23 to 25 April 2027, the playoffs start on 30 April and the ground finishes on 9 May. With 64 to 128 teams entered, the venue sees the whole ground through.

Which areas each ground covers

Roubaix/North-East serves the north-east including Tourcoing and Wattrelos. Villeneuve-d'Ascq/East serves the east and south-east, including Hellemmes and Lezennes. Lomme/West serves the west with Lambersart, Marquette and La Madeleine. A site belongs to whichever ground it is in; the live cards on the Lille page show which of the three already has a venue.

Applying through the pitch owner programme

Interested owners use the pitch owner application. Only one venue is confirmed for each ground, and once its agreement is signed the Lille page names it. Referees and crew are recruited through the join page, which leaves the venue free to concentrate on hosting.

Questions from Lille venue owners

Can an indoor hall in Lille host a ground?

A hall and an outdoor synthetic site follow the same route, the pitch owner programme, and the choice is one venue per ground. What matters is hosting the matches in 40-minute slots on the fixture dates for a ground of 64 to 128 teams.

Does a venue need to be in Lille itself?

No. Roubaix, Villeneuve-d'Ascq and Lomme are towns of the metropolis, and a site in a neighbouring commune such as Tourcoing, Lambersart or Marcq-en-Baroeul fits the ground nearest to it, with teams choosing by distance.

Who supplies the teams and officials?

Teams come from the entry system, where each holds a Team License and picks a ground. Referees, assistants and a fourth official apply through the join page. Nobody at the venue has to recruit either group.
