Run an MCC pitch

Every host city has three grounds: one booked by MCC, two open to independent Pitch Owners. An approved owner hosts up to 128 teams on match day and runs check-in and results from the MCC app. Approved owners together receive 30% of MCC team licensing and sponsorship proceeds from across the tournament.

Subject to the official prize rules. That 30% is counted across every pitch in the tournament, not only yours, and is paid into the MCC Pool. A pitch's full share is that 30% divided by the number of pitches; the Pitch Owner Agreement signed after approval sets the payment terms.

What an owner takes on

Your share of the 30% depends on the Conditions of Entitlement: at least 16 licensed teams at your pitch, the availability the MCC schedule needs, every scheduled match completed, and the medical, security and event support MCC requires. A pitch with 128 licensed teams earns the full share; 64 or more earn 85% of it, 32 or more 75%, and 16 or more 50%.
