Host a tournament in Busan
MCC is seeking three Busan venues, one for Haeundae/East, one for Central Busan and one for Sasang/West. Whoever takes a ground runs a contest of up to 128 amateur teams through the spring of 2027, with the format, the entries and the prize fund provided. Owners of futsal courts in the Busan area can apply here.
What a Busan venue takes on
A host site gives up court time over the Pitch Round: three April weekends of group games, then the knockout stage that begins on 30 April and ends with the ground's final on 9 May. A match takes a 40-minute slot, so even a few small-sided courts can carry a full ground across weekend hours. A ground may also start with only 64 teams.
How the grounds split the city
Haeundae takes the east coast, from Centum City and Suyeong through Haeundae itself. Central Busan takes Busanjin, Dongnae and the harbour districts. Sasang takes the west, around Sasang, Saha and Gangseo. A site applies for the area where it stands, and the live cards on the Busan page show which grounds still need one.
Applying as a Busan pitch owner
Busan owners of futsal courts use the pitch owner application. MCC picks one venue for each ground, signs an agreement with it, and shows the signed venue on the Busan page so that entering teams know where their ground plays.
Questions from Busan venues
Does a Busan venue need to be near the beach?
No. The grounds are areas of the metro, and a site inland in Sasang or Dongnae fits its ground as well as one by the water. What counts is staging the fixtures on the published dates.
Who recruits referees for a Busan ground?
MCC does, through the join page, where match officials and crew are recruited. Teams never appoint them, and the venue only supplies the courts and space for the fixture days.
How many Busan venues will MCC confirm for the Pitch Round?
Three, one for each ground: Haeundae/East, Central Busan and Sasang/West. Each venue stages its ground's matches from the first group weekend on 9 April to the final on 9 May 2027.
