Host a tournament in Osaka
MCC needs three venues around Osaka, one each for Suita/North, Higashiosaka/East and Sakai/South. Whoever hosts a ground stages a contest between up to 128 amateur teams over spring 2027, and MCC supplies the format, the entries and the prize fund. Operators of futsal courts and artificial pitches in the Osaka area can apply here.
What an Osaka venue takes on
The venue for a ground must free up court time for group matches over three weekends, playoffs from 30 April and a closing final on 9 May. Each match fills a 40-minute slot, so a site with a few small-sided courts can run a whole ground within its weekend hours. A ground can also begin with only 64 teams.
Where the three grounds sit
Suita is the northern ground and takes sites in and around Suita, Toyonaka and the Senri area. Higashiosaka is the eastern ground for venues towards Higashiosaka and the Kintetsu corridor. Sakai is the southern ground for venues in Sakai and along the Nankai line. The live cards on the Osaka page show which grounds already have a venue.
Applying as an Osaka pitch owner
An Osaka site puts itself forward through the pitch owner application. One venue is confirmed for each of the three grounds, an agreement is signed with MCC, and the venue then appears on the Osaka page for entering teams to see.
Questions from Osaka venues
Can an indoor futsal hall host an Osaka ground?
Yes. What matters is that the venue can stage its ground's fixtures on the published dates, indoors or outdoors. Only one venue is confirmed per ground, and the agreement is signed with MCC before the venue is named.
Does a venue need to find its own teams?
No. Teams register through this site and choose a ground. Referees and crew come from the join page, so a venue provides the pitches and never appoints officials itself, which keeps matches neutral.
Can a site outside central Osaka apply?
Yes. The grounds are regions of the Osaka metro area, and a site in Suita, Higashiosaka or Sakai suits its ground as well as one in the centre. Teams tend to prefer the ground nearest home.
