Host a tournament in Valencia
North Metro, West Metro and South Metro will each have one host venue, confirmed by MCC through its pitch owner programme. That venue holds a 5-a-side event for up to 128 amateur teams in 2027, using the rules, fixture list, entries and prizes MCC provides. The details below are for pavellon managers and owners of synthetic pitches around Valencia.
What a Valencia venue commits to
A Valencia venue stages its ground's games in 40-minute slots: the group fixtures on three April weekends, playoffs beginning 30 April and the final on 9 May. The number of teams runs from 64 to 128 per ground, all of them hosted by the one venue.
How the three Metro grounds divide the area
North Metro is for sites in the northern towns and the huerta north of the city. West Metro covers Mislata, Burjassot, Paterna, Manises and the line to Quart de Poblet. South Metro covers Alfafar, Catarroja, Torrent and the southern towns. A site belongs to the sector it lies in, and the live cards mark where an agreement has already been signed.
The pitch owner application
Pitch owners start with the pitch owner application. MCC confirms one venue for each metro ground and signs an agreement, after which the Valencia page names the venue. Referees, assistants and crew are recruited through the join page and are not the venue's job.
Questions from Valencia venue owners
Can an outdoor synthetic pitch in Valencia host a ground?
Yes, indoor and outdoor sites go through the same programme. MCC confirms one venue per metro ground and signs an agreement with it, then matches run in 40-minute slots on the fixture dates.
How many teams does a Valencia ground hold?
Between 64 and 128. Each team plays a group of four with three group matches before the playoffs, and the ground's one confirmed venue hosts every match from the first group fixture to the final.
Who recruits match officials for the Valencia ground?
MCC does. Officials and crew apply through the join page, and teams do not appoint them. The venue provides the pitches, the hours and a clean place to run the matches.
