Host a tournament in Belgrade
Three grounds, Zemun/North-West, New Belgrade/West and South-East Belgrade, each need a venue, and MCC takes one per ground. The venue stages a tournament for 64 to 128 amateur teams from 9 April until 9 May 2027, and MCC supplies the format, fixtures, entries and the Pitch Champion's prize. Owners of artificial pitches and sports centres in Belgrade can apply here.
What a Belgrade venue takes on
A venue hosts the Pitch Round across three April weekends of group matches, then the playoffs from 30 April and the ground's final on 9 May. Slots are 40 minutes per match. Entries and fixtures are MCC's, and officials arrive through the join page.
Which Belgrade ground a venue fits
A site in Zemun or the north-west fits Zemun/North-West, a sports centre in New Belgrade fits New Belgrade/West, and a pitch in Vračar, Zvezdara, Voždovac or Palilula fits South-East Belgrade. The live cards on this city's page show which grounds have a signed venue and which are open.
How to apply as a Belgrade pitch owner
A site owner in Belgrade submits the MCC pitch owner application. One venue per ground is confirmed by MCC, and an agreement is signed with it. After that the venue's name goes up on the Belgrade page for registering teams, and the cards there show what remains open.
Questions from Belgrade venues
Can a school or club sports hall in Belgrade apply?
Yes. Clubs, schools and municipal sports centres can apply the same way as any commercial operator, as long as the site can host matches in the 40-minute slots of the Pitch Round.
Do venues choose which teams play there?
No. Teams register with MCC and pick the ground that suits them. The venue provides pitches and hours while MCC handles entries, fixtures, officials and the prize fund for the Pitch Champion.
How many teams play at each Belgrade ground?
Between 64 and 128 teams per ground. A ground names one Pitch Champion, who takes home $20,000 and moves on to the Country Championship, played 28 to 30 May 2027.
