Host a tournament in Zagreb
MCC is confirming one venue for each of its three Zagreb grounds. Over the Pitch Round, 9 April to 9 May 2027, a hosting venue stages a tournament for 64 to 128 amateur teams. The format, fixtures, entries and Pitch Champion prize come from MCC. Operators of artificial pitches, sports halls with outdoor courts and clubs in Zagreb can apply.
What a Zagreb venue takes on
The venue hosts matches on the fixture dates: three weekends of group games in April, playoff days from 30 April and the ground's final on 9 May. A match takes a 40-minute slot. Officials are recruited through MCC and the join page, not by the venue.
Which part of Zagreb a venue serves
A site in Trešnjevka or Črnomerec fits West Zagreb. Maksimir, Dubrava or the Sesvete side fit East Zagreb, and Novi Zagreb or Trnje fit South Zagreb. Live cards on the Zagreb page mark which grounds are signed and which are still open to pitch owners.
Applying as a Zagreb pitch owner
Zagreb pitch owners send the MCC pitch owner application. From those, one venue per ground is confirmed and an agreement is signed; the venue then appears on the Zagreb page for teams that register, and the live cards there show which grounds are still open.
Questions from Zagreb venues
Is a sports hall with a futsal court enough?
It can be put forward. Any pitch owner or operator can apply, and a hall able to host matches in 40-minute slots over the Pitch Round weekends is treated like any other site.
Who supplies the teams at a Zagreb ground?
MCC does. Teams register through MCC and pick the ground that suits them, with 64 to 128 teams per ground. The venue hosts the matches, and the referee, assistants and fourth official are recruited through the join page.
Can one operator apply for more than one Zagreb ground?
If it has sites in more than one area, it can put each forward for the ground its area falls in. MCC confirms one venue per ground and signs an agreement with each.
