Host a Muscat tournament ground
Muscat needs one confirmed venue for each of its three grounds: Seeb/West, Bawshar/Central and Al Amerat/East. A venue stages a Pitch Round for 64 to 128 teams across the five weeks from 9 April 2027. Anyone running futsal courts or pitches in the capital can apply.
What hosting a ground in Muscat involves
A Muscat venue hosts the matches of one ground. Group games fall on three April weekends, then come the playoffs and the ground's final on 9 May 2027. Each game takes a 40-minute slot, and the clock stops for dead balls.
Officials and crew arrive through MCC's own join-page recruitment, never through the teams. The venue's part is hosting the matches on those dates, and no more. Once a ground's agreement is signed, the venue is named on the Muscat city page.
How a Muscat venue fits the three grounds
Seeb/West covers the area near the airport and toward Barka. Bawshar/Central covers Bawshar, Al Khuwair, Ruwi and the districts around Sultan Qaboos Street. Al Amerat/East covers the road toward the mountains and Quriyat, the eastern end of the capital area.
Each ground ends up with one venue. Your application should state which district the site is in, so MCC can place it in one of the three areas. A pitch owner in any of these districts can apply for the ground that covers it.
Applying as a Muscat pitch owner
Use the pitch owner application on this site. For each ground MCC confirms one venue, signs an agreement and then announces it on the Muscat page. Three cards on the page show the state of the grounds, and a ground without a venue stays open.
Applications are open for all three Muscat grounds. Oman has only this one host city, so the Muscat venues serve every Omani team that enters the competition. Name your district and say who can sign for the owner of the site.
Questions from Muscat venues
Can a school or sports complex in Muscat host a ground?
Yes, when it controls pitches and can sign the venue agreement. The programme is for pitch owners, whoever owns the site, and a venue is announced only after its agreement is signed.
Which Muscat areas does each ground cover?
Seeb/West covers the area near the airport and toward Barka. Bawshar/Central covers Bawshar, Al Khuwair, Ruwi and the districts around Sultan Qaboos Street. Al Amerat/East covers the road toward the mountains and Quriyat. Each ground has one venue.
When will Muscat venues be announced?
MCC announces each venue on the Muscat page once its agreement is signed. The live cards show which of the three grounds already have a venue. A ground with no card yet is still open to applications from operators in Seeb, Bawshar and Al Amerat.
