Host a tournament in Buenos Aires
MCC wants one venue for each of three Buenos Aires grounds: North Metro, West Metro and South Metro. Each venue hosts one full competition, with 64 to 128 amateur teams in the Pitch Round that ends on 9 May 2027, while MCC supplies the entries, the format and the fixtures. If you own or manage a complejo of canchas in the capital or the Gran Buenos Aires, here is what hosting involves.
What a Buenos Aires complejo takes on
A ground plays four-team groups across three April weekends, then playoffs from 30 April, with the final on 9 May. The venue hosts each match in a 40-minute slot on those dates. How many teams a ground ends up with, from 64 up to 128, depends on how many enter that area.
Where the three Metro grounds sit
North Metro covers the northern barrios and the Zona Norte towns. West Metro covers Flores, Liniers, Ramos Mejía and Morón. South Metro covers Avellaneda, Lanús, Quilmes and Lomas de Zamora. A venue applies for the area it stands in, and the Buenos Aires page names it once its agreement is signed.
How to apply as a venue
Venues come in through the pitch owner application. Once an agreement is signed, a single venue per ground is confirmed and the Buenos Aires page names it. A venue never needs to look for referees or crew, because the join page recruits them, and teams do not appoint them either.
Questions from Buenos Aires venues
Can a complejo in the Gran Buenos Aires host a ground?
Yes. The grounds cover metropolitan areas, not only the capital. A site in Quilmes or Morón fits its Metro ground as well as one in Flores, and teams prefer a venue close to home.
Which areas does each Metro ground cover?
North Metro covers the northern barrios and the Zona Norte towns, West Metro covers Flores, Liniers, Ramos Mejía and Morón, and South Metro covers Avellaneda, Lanús, Quilmes and Lomas de Zamora. A venue applies for the area it stands in.
Who supplies the teams and the referees?
MCC. Teams register on this site, and referees and crew come from the join page. The complejo's job is to host matches on the fixture dates between 9 April and 9 May 2027.
