Host a tournament in Casablanca
MCC needs one venue for each of three Casablanca grounds, North, East and South-West. The venue stages a tournament for amateur teams across April and May 2027, with the rules, schedule, entries and money all arranged by MCC. What a Casablanca venue takes on
The venue stages one ground's tournament in 40-minute slots. Group matches take up three April weekends, playoffs start on 30 April, and each ground's last day is 9 May. Entries settle the size of the field, between 64 and 128 teams, and the Pitch Champion heads to the Morocco Country Championship.
Matching a venue to a ground
North Casablanca is Ain Sebaa, Sidi Bernoussi and the north. East Casablanca is Hay Mohammadi and the east. South-West Casablanca is Maarif, Anfa and the coast. Owners apply for the area their site is in, and the live cards on the Casablanca page show which grounds already have a venue.
Applying as a pitch owner
A pitch owner starts with the pitch owner application. MCC then settles on one venue per ground, signs an agreement, and publishes the venue's name on the Casablanca page for registering teams. Before that the ground's card on the page has no venue.
Questions from Casablanca venues
Does a venue have to sit on the coast?
No. The grounds are areas of Casablanca, and the East ground covers inland districts, so a site away from the coast fits its ground like any other, and owners apply for the area that holds the site.
Which dates does a Casablanca venue cover?
The first group weekend is 9 to 11 April 2027, with later ones on 16 to 18 and 23 to 25 April. Playoffs begin on 30 April and finals are on 9 May. Every match fills a 40-minute slot, and entries decide how many teams a ground has.
Who supplies officials, crew and prizes?
MCC supplies them. Referees and crew are recruited through the join page, not by the venue's own staff, and the champion's $20,000 comes from the published fund. The venue lends its pitches for the matches.
