Host a tournament in Vancouver
Metro Vancouver needs three venues, one each for North Shore, Burnaby/East and Surrey/South. Each venue hosts its ground's Pitch Round for 64 to 128 amateur teams, which runs 9 April to 9 May 2027. Pitch owners with turf fields or futsal facilities can apply on this page.
What a Vancouver venue takes on
A Vancouver venue hosts its ground's matches in 40-minute slots on the fixture dates. Four-team groups play over three April weekends, the playoffs run from 30 April, and the final is on 9 May. Each ground holds between 64 and 128 teams.
Where the three grounds sit
North Shore takes in North and West Vancouver. Burnaby/East takes in Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam and the Tri-Cities. Surrey/South takes in Surrey, Delta, Langley and White Rock. Owners apply for the ground their site sits in, and the Vancouver page cards mark which grounds still have no confirmed venue.
Applying as a Vancouver pitch owner
A Metro Vancouver pitch owner begins with the pitch owner application. For each ground MCC settles on a single venue and signs an agreement with it. Teams entering that ground then find the signed venue on the Vancouver page, so they know where to play.
Questions from Vancouver venues
Which Vancouver areas can a venue come from?
Any of the three grounds' areas: North Shore for North and West Vancouver, Burnaby/East for Burnaby, New Westminster and the Tri-Cities, and Surrey/South for Surrey, Delta, Langley and White Rock. Each ground needs one venue.
Can a venue in Richmond or Langley apply?
Yes. Richmond sits closest to the Burnaby/East ground by transit and road, while Langley falls within Surrey/South. Apply for the ground whose area includes the site, and MCC will confirm the fit.
What does MCC supply to a Vancouver venue?
MCC provides the format, the fixtures and the team entries, and match officials and crew come through the join page. The venue's part is hosting its ground's matches in 40-minute slots on the fixture dates.
